Our niece Parker Drew was the first guest of a danyelliott podcast. Fresh from California, the spectacular six-year-old added some insight about her solo trip to New York and her love for Beyonce, while the Wilsons chopped it up in regards to the regular music industry minutia: Cassie’s haircut, Bill O’ Reilly’s hate for Eminem, and South Park’s Kanye assassination. Another wild ride as your favorite couple weighs on all pop culture’s super-sized topics: Chris Brown and Rihanna’s domestic dispute, The NY Post racist cartoon, Oscars and the crazy pregnant lady. Plus thrown in the mix are past magazine war stories, innocent crushes, Flo Rida’s new hit and the swagger-rific white boy above. We still challenge you to find a better way to spend your Sunday.

The great thing about the danyelliott podcast is we never know where we’re goin’ but we sure enjoy the ride. Elliott’s geeky school days. Danyel’s secret undercover assignment. Love song sing along debates with awkward Earth, Wind & Fire segues. Still with V-Day and NBA All-Star weekend heavy on our mind, it all came back to those two main topics. Thus the corny-ass title above seems so fitting. Ha! It feels good to be home.

Damn that was close. We almost went a whole Sunday without a new danyelliott podcast. Of course, we couldn’t let our devoted fans down. So even though we’re extremely busy rippin’ and runnin’ through the city of Lost Angels we had to take the time to provide you with a good time. And to think, this is just part 1. Ha! We got more in store. See ya at the Grammy’s tonight.

Usually we record on Saturday, but this time we did it on Friday, at the end of a long work week. So: Elliott is manic, Danyel is kinda tired and no we’re not OT at this year’s Super Bowl—which was the reason we taped on Friday night in the first place. Topics? Grammy nominations. The bloody battle for Internet Domination. The boss Rick Ross’ homage to Special Ed’s magnificence. Oh and Elliott’s ability to treat strippers and go-go dancers like the dainty debutantes they really are. See ya at Grammy’s. We promise!

Could it be a bitter cranky Saturday at the danyelliott Castle? Ha! Elliott goes ape shit over Twitter flirts, and his Facebook fiasco. Danyel’s not feelin’ Obama’s swearing-in snafu and people mistakin’ kindness for weakness. Throw in Special Ed. Wale. Hiero. Shirea L. Carroll. Twitter’s djbigdaddy, and Solange Knowles. And it’s all just another week in the life of danyelliott. Thanks, as always, to Sam Han for riding shotgun.
